173. When you get sung an original song by a close Friend

Long Distance Friend want's to be a musician, whenever he is up he spends most of his time glued to the piano, however I don't think I've ever heard a song he has written (I could be wrong about this) until the other day. After a hard day of attempted revision I decided to take a break and give him a call about halfway into our conversation he mentions he has written a new song. He then sung it to me and it was brilliant (well I thought so) there were a couple of lines that to me summed up his very essence. There is something special about hearing a song someone you know well has written I have the same feeling whenever Musical Friend sings one of her songs. Part of it is pride that someone you know has created something so beautiful. Anyway it really made my day.
