248. Having a hip flask full of whisky
Theres nothing more to be said really. Makes me smile to think about it.
247. Staying up talking to someone you barely know until 6 in the morning
On the third day of Freshers I knocked on Flat 4's door I had met the two Girls from their briefly the two nights before and I didn't want to spend the day in my flat. I went in when they were watching the inbetweeners we spent the rest of the day together and got ready in the same room and then went out. When out we got seperated at some points but a group of them ended up in there kitchen, one by one people left until finally it was just me and on of the Girls just talking and before we knew it, it was 6 in the morning. We covered many topics and after that I felt like I knew her I think I would call her my Uni Best Friend now; she's very different from Best Friend and I will always love Best Friend more because she is my Best Friend but my Uni Best Friend is wonderful in her own way and to find someone I connected with so quickly was fantastic. Really made my day
246. Getting stamps in the post
There is something amusing about recieving stamps in the post I can't quite put my finger on why. It really made me smile.
245. An unexpected Giraffe gift from a Friends mother
At university you don't expect to get any presents from friends parents but one of the Girls From Flat 4's mum went on a month long holiday I think to africa and brought back a load of bead keyrings in the shape of animals and we all got to choose one. I chose the Giraffe because I feel a close kinship with them as creatures (they are tall and graceful like me). Giraffe's never fail to make me smile and now I have a bead Giraffe keyring my life is complete.
