56. Short conversations with people behind the till
There is actually a lot I could have chosen about this day that made me smile but it was this incident which I think was the most suprisingly cheering. I had been on a train for an hour already and had half an hour before my connection train back home so I went into boots for a snack. When I got up to the till the Man behind asked me if I had had a nice day in a genuinely interested manor and so while he scanned my stuff I had a little chat with him, I am not usually that comfortable talking with strangers but he just seemed like a lovely man who just wanted a little chat and to get the most out of his job. It just made me happy.
