139. Getting an unexpected compliment during a stressful time from a know critic

As previously mentioned I have had a series of Textiles exams over the last week as we also had to complete a project sketchbook for it the day before my last exam (and the night to, I pulled an all nighter) was spent finishing this off. This was a very stressful time for me I had the sniffles, backache, headache, mindache etc thought I was going mad almost the entire time. During this time I posted a facebook status in an attempt to be witty saying:
"Definitely beginning to feel like a crazy artists, the urge to cut off my nose so it won't run is almost overwhelming... move over Vincent."
My Literature Friend a well known critic known to only give out backhanded compliments which are actually insults commented on it saying this:
"But that would spite your face, which is lovely. (This proves that either the revision has addelled my brain to rice pudding, or -as that would signal approaching doom rather than glad tidings- that I have a nice side.)"
This was one of the many things that helped me through the mad 33 hours of Textiles I did it also really made me smile.
