134. Role reversal, looking after my drunk throwing up Best Friend
She probably won't thank me for this but I hope she gets some joy out of the fact that it was my reason to be cheerful for the day (please say you do?). As it was Eurovision my Good Friend decided to host a Eurovision party (the basic idea of it being you get drunk and make fun of the silly acts) we all had to support a country (I went for Denmark the way they say 'crazy' is beautiful) and Best Friend supported Azerbaijan she just picked of a list randomly (this does come into it). Now I watched the first couple of acts including Denmark I did have their flag on my cheek but somehow I ended up in the kitchen with a Friend of mine lets call her Emotional Girlfriend as thats what she was. We had a chat because well shes part of one of those couples that falls out and she cries at most parties, she is really lovely though. Anyway Best Friend joins us at some point and after a nice chat we end up going back in to watch the end of it. [Bear in mind at this point we have drunk quite alot] We are watching as the results are added up (apparently I swear when I'm drunk in my defence Denmark were not very high up, could have been the backless shirt...) and at the end it is announced that Azerbaijan have won (this bit is hazy I'm working from a retelling) and my Best Friend is instructed to down her drink (some foul concoction of wine, ribena and other such things) which she promptly does and then runs upstairs. I follow and sit by the toilet alternitively supporting her and shouting at her; which was a nice role reversal before it has always been me sitting infront of the toilet throwing up the contents of my stomach. At one point a Friend comes up stairs and askes through the door if she can go to the loo I replied not so nicely that she should 'go away(phrased a little harsher) and pee in the street'. I finally managed to pry her from the toilet at some point and we went to bed it was nice to look after my Best Friend like she has looked after me I feel like I have repayed a little of my debt now. It did make me smile.
